NEW Hanse 540e
A modern cruiser/racer with potential for great speed
Hanse covers both wheels of your Hanse 540e with soft leather. They guarantee sensitive contact with the rudder and make handling easier.
The self-tacking foresail and all the other cloths for your Hanse 540e is made by North Sails.
The experience you will have with your Hanse will be more intense than with any other yacht. This has to do with the high Hanse standard. Teak is laid on the side decks, the cabin roof and in the cockpit. This is not just a matter of course.
Where is the anchor stowed on the Hanse 540e? The anchor iron pivots on an arm extending from the forepeak. And that is standard. Extras? Extra price? That is also offered, you may select, for example, from several hull colours in gelcoat.
The judel/vrolijk design ensures that there are clearly arranged deck surfaces and a wide stern with a large bathing platform on the Hanse 540e. Behind this platform you stow the dinghy in a garage. Obviously there are also countersunk cleats and black silvered windows on the Hanse 540e. A large draught is also a standard Hanse feature. Hanse builds yachts just for sailors.
On board there are no details overlooked, ever. Every detail counts. Hanse will not be outdone where the selection of equipment is concerned. They select the best suppliers for the fittings and the running rigging. Hatches, stretchers and trimming ropes lead through the roof of the superstructure so that they do not disturb. They are installed where they are needed, in the cockpit. And classically we fit teak with sosoffits, expensive and cost-intensive. Typical Hanse.

You have just sunk into the leather lounge seat when you notice: the Hanse 540e offers just the degree of comfort that would round off a wonderful day's sailing. Pick up your mail quickly. Pour the wine.
Then pull out the foot rest. Just look at what is coming out of the galley. On the Hanse 540e the equipment essential for looking after your wellbeing doesn't consist of one embarrassingly small corner for cooking. Here you can really cook. Cheers!
Porto Fino cream, jade or gold: the names given to the colours of the leather coverings sound enticing. But you can also choose from different materials, from Verona blue to grey. Even the standard material is called Flamenco. A sherry to that!
No, plush fittings and fixtures are not the be all and end all for the Hanse. They feel comfortable in an atmosphere without frills. For this reason they attach just as much importance to the fittings below deck as to the equipment on deck. This applies to the workspace of the owner, with the new lamp models, and also to the fittings in the baths, with their Corian surfaces.
The owner's suite in the bow or two guestrooms? Sofas in he saloon? Or a corner sofa and two lounge seats opposite it? In the forepeak a crew cabin with a sanitary services unit or stowage space? The choice is yours. Hanse calls this the Individual Cabin Concept. Which means: you can combine ground plans for different compartments, even on the Internet. The CONFIGURATOR is fun to use. Use alternatives...
Mahogany, with a satin varnish for the furnishings below deck: the classic material is of course always acceptable, but there is an alternative. Instead of the Mahogany furnishings Hanse can also supply your 540e in cherry fittings. This gives a brighter, racier effect. No matter wheher you choose Mahogany or cherry, the stowage compartments under the portside sofa remain the same.
